Christmas playlists are everywhere this time of year — but this one’s a little different.
This week’s Nick & Tiff Music Weekly Playlist is built around the kind of holiday music that actually stick with you. It’s a mix of timeless classics, rock-and-roll Christmas staples, and a few modern favorites that feel right at home next to Lennon, McCartney, Springsteen, Petty, Elvis, and Sinatra. Some tracks are warm and nostalgic, others are loud and fun, and a few lean just enough off the beaten path to keep things interesting.
This is the kind of playlist we have playing in the shop in December — perfect for a winter drive, wrapping gifts late at night, or just letting it run while the lights are on and the coffee’s hot. It’s festive without being cheesy, familiar without being predictable, and rooted in the music we genuinely love.

Why We Chose These Songs
We kick this playlist off with our all-time favorite Christmas song, a track that immediately sets the tone for everything that follows. From there, the goal was simple: build a holiday playlist that feels honest. Songs we’ve loved for years, artists we return to again and again, and Christmas tracks that don’t lose their magic after the first few listens.
You’ll hear familiar voices from rock history, a few modern takes that still respect the spirit of the season, and just enough edge to keep things fun. Some songs are here for nostalgia, some for energy, and some because they just feel like December — whether you’re driving at night, wrapping gifts, or hanging out with friends and family.
Like everything we do at Nick & Tiff Music, this playlist isn’t about checking boxes or chasing trends. It’s about sharing music we genuinely love and hoping it becomes part of someone else’s holiday soundtrack.

A Few Standout Moments
John Lennon and Paul McCartney remind us that great Christmas songs can still say something meaningful. “Pub Crawl” by Arkells is a great drinking and just plain fun Christmas song — light-hearted and perfect for a holiday party. Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen, and Tom Petty bring that perfect mix of grit and warmth. Foo Fighters, Green Day, blink-182, and Dropkick Murphys add a little volume, attitude, and laughter for when the season calls for something louder and lighter. And the classics — Elvis, Sinatra, the Beach Boys, Andy Williams — tie everything together with pure holiday nostalgia.
