If you’ve been thinking about starting piano lessons, now is the perfect time.
Our incredibly talented piano instructor Deanna Civilette currently has two openings for piano lessons on Wednesdays at 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM at Nick & Tiff Music in Derby, NY.
Openings with Deanna don’t happen very often, so if you or your child are interested in learning piano, this is a great opportunity to get started with a fantastic teacher.
Meet Our Piano Instructor: Deanna Civilette
Deanna Civilette holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in music education with a choral concentration from SUNY Fredonia. She also studied music composition for three years and performed violin in the SUNY Fredonia Symphony Orchestra.
In addition to teaching piano lessons at Nick & Tiff Music, Deanna has extensive experience in music education. She teaches:
- Piano
- Guitar
- Beginner music theory
- AP Music Theory
- Mixed chorus and show choir
She also directs school musical productions at Lake Shore High School and leads ensembles that have participated in workshops at universities across the country.
Under her leadership, the LSHS Mixed Chorus earned first place in their class at OrlandoFest and recorded at Disney World’s Soundtrack Sessions.
Outside of teaching, Deanna performs with Opus 716, a string quartet based in Buffalo, NY, and writes and records her own music. Her original songs can be found on streaming platforms under the name “Deanna Quinn.”
Piano Lessons at Nick & Tiff Music
Our lessons are designed to help students of all ages build strong musical foundations while still making learning fun and rewarding. Whether someone is just starting out or looking to improve their skills, private lessons provide the personal attention needed to grow quickly.
Because Deanna’s schedule is usually full, these two available lesson slots may not last long.
