Breaking Benjamin played Darien Lake on September 10, 2026, and it ended up being one of those concerts where the energy in the crowd was just awesome.

They sounded great. Ben Burnley sounded great. The whole show had that heavy, emotional, sing-along feel that Breaking Benjamin does so well, and the atmosphere at Darien Lake was really good all night. You could hear the crowd singing back to them on pretty much every song, which made the whole concert feel even bigger.

The Set

Breaking Benjamin opened strong with “I Will Not Bow,” and right away it felt like the crowd was fully locked in. That song is already built for a live setting, but when everyone around you is singing it back, it gives it even more power.

One of the early highlights for me was “Until the End.” That is one of those Breaking Benjamin songs that has a huge chorus without losing the darker feeling of the band. It hit really well live.

The set moved through a really good mix of songs from different parts of their career. “Evil Angel,” “Crawl,” “Red Cold River,” “Follow,” “Angels Fall,” and “So Cold” all kept the heavier energy going, but the band also did a nice job changing the mood throughout the night instead of making everything feel the same.

“Blow Me Away” Was One of the Coolest Moments

“Blow Me Away” was definitely one of the coolest moments of the night for me. First of all, it’s just a great song, and it is a big one for a lot of fans because of its connection to the Halo 2 video game, and they had gameplay footage playing on the screen during the song.

That made it feel even more fun live. It was one of those moments where the visuals and the music worked perfectly together, especially for anyone who remembers that song from the game. It brought a different kind of excitement into the set and stood out in a really cool way.

The Crowd

One of the best parts of the whole concert was how much the crowd sang. It was not just the biggest hits either. You could definitely tell how much these songs mean to their fans. It felt like people were singing along all night, from “Polyamorous” to “Dear Agony” to “Breath.”

“Polyamorous” was another highlight because it brought that early Breaking Benjamin energy into the show. It still sounds great live, and it was cool hearing one of their first big songs mixed into a set that also included newer material like “Awaken.”

“Dear Agony” was one of the more emotional moments, and it was really cool to get a chance to hear their two new songs “Something Wicked” & “Awaken” live. They both played great live.

The Ending Stretch

The last part of the show was really strong. “Breath” sounded great live, “Awaken” fit really well in the set, and “Dance with the Devil” gave the ending stretch another big moment before they closed with “The Diary of Jane.”

Of course, “The Diary of Jane” was the perfect closer. It is one of those songs that everyone is waiting for, and when they finally played it, the crowd gave everything they had left. It was loud, fun, and exactly the kind of ending you want from a Breaking Benjamin show.

Final Thoughts

Breaking Benjamin at Darien Lake was a really fun show. The band sounded tight, Ben sounded great, and the crowd made the night feel even bigger by singing along to pretty much everything.

For me, the biggest highlights were “Until the End,” “Blow Me Away,” “You,” “Polyamorous,” “Dear Agony,” “Something Wicked,” “Breath,” “Awaken,” and closing the night with “The Diary of Jane.” It was heavy, emotional, nostalgic, and just a really fun concert from start to finish.
