Music for Minis: Our Intro to Music Kids Class Is Back!

We’re excited to announce that Music for Minis, our Intro to Music class for kids, is coming back to Nick & Tiff Music!

Designed for children ages 2–9, Music for Minis is a fun and interactive way to introduce young children to the joy of music in a welcoming and encouraging environment.

Beginning at the end of August, the class will be offered once a month on Saturday mornings, making it easy for families to fit music into their busy schedules.

Our first class will take place on Saturday, August 29, 2026, beginning at 10:00 AM.

We are located on Route 5 in Derby, right by Pasquale’s in the old Evans Bank building.

What Is Music for Minis?

Led by Stephanie Butterfield, Music for Minis is designed to help children explore music through singing, movement, and creative play.

Throughout the class, children learn about rhythm and musical expression by participating in fun activities like:

Singing songs together
Clapping and stomping to the beat
Dancing and moving with the music
Waving scarves during interactive songs
Using their imaginations through musical storytelling and play

Every class encourages children to build confidence, creativity, coordination, listening skills, and a lifelong love of music—all while having fun.

Small Class Sizes

To provide every child with plenty of individual attention, each Music for Minis class is limited to just four children.

If the 10:00 AM class fills, we’ll open additional classes every half hour as needed so more families can participate.

Our goal is to create a relaxed, engaging experience where every child has the opportunity to be involved.
