2026 is turning into a huge year for live music. There are major stadium tours, big arena shows, classic rock legends, country megastars, pop tours, alternative bands, jam bands, and even some huge destination shows happening at Sphere in Las Vegas.
This guide is meant to be a national concert guide for fans who want to see what big tours are happening across the country. Some of these artists may be coming close to your city. Others might be worth a road trip. Either way, if you love concerts, there is a lot to keep an eye on this year.
And honestly, that is one of the best parts of being a music fan. Sometimes you go see a band you have loved for years. Sometimes you take a chance on an artist you are just getting into. Sometimes the show itself becomes the memory.

The Biggest Rock Tours of 2026
AC/DC
AC/DC are one of the biggest rock names on the road in 2026. Their Power Up Tour continues with major stadium dates, and for classic rock fans, this is probably one of the true event concerts of the year. AC/DC is one of those bands where the songs were built for a massive crowd. If you have ever wanted to hear “Back in Black,” “Thunderstruck,” or “Highway to Hell” in a stadium setting, this is the kind of tour that makes sense to plan around. AC/DC’s 2026 tour runs from July 11 through September 29.
See AC/DC Tour Dates & Tickets on Ticketmaster
Foo Fighters
Foo Fighters are another huge rock tour to watch in 2026. Their Take Cover Tour brings them back into stadiums, and Queens of the Stone Age are part of many of the dates. Foo Fighters have reached that level where their shows feel like a celebration of the whole catalog. You get the big songs, the emotional songs, the loud songs, and that feeling that Dave Grohl is trying to make the venue feel smaller than it actually is.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are another major name on the 2026 concert calendar. Springsteen shows have always felt bigger than just a normal night of music. There is the catalog, the storytelling, the energy, and that feeling that everyone in the building is part of something together.
For longtime fans, this is one of those tours that feels worth paying attention to. Springsteen has so many songs that have become part of people’s lives and hearing them with the E Street Band still carries a lot of weight. Whether it is “Born to Run,” “Thunder Road,” “Badlands,” or “The Promised Land,” these are songs that were made to be played live.

Guns N’ Roses
Guns N’ Roses are also on the road in 2026, and they still feel like one of the biggest rock bands you can see live. There are certain bands where the name alone carries weight, and Guns N’ Roses are definitely one of them. With Axl Rose, Slash, and that catalog, this is still a major draw for fans who want a loud, larger-than-life rock show.

Rush
The return of Rush is one of the most emotional rock stories of 2026. Of course, it will never be the same without Neil Peart. It could not be. But the idea of hearing this music performed again by Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson is still a huge moment for Rush fans. This feels less like a normal tour and more like a tribute to the music, the history, and the fans who have carried those songs with them for decades. Rush’s Fifty Something tour pays tribute to the music of Rush and Neil Peart’s legacy, with Anika Nilles joining on drums.

My Chemical Romance
My Chemical Romance are back with The Black Parade 2026 Stadium Tour, and this is one of the biggest alternative rock tours of the year. For a whole generation of fans, The Black Parade was not just an album. It was a world. It had drama, emotion, theatricality, and songs that felt massive even before they were being played in stadiums. This tour should be a huge one for longtime fans and newer fans who discovered the album later. The tour runs from May 10 through October 24, with a rotating group of major support acts including Franz Ferdinand, Pierce the Veil, Modest Mouse, Iggy Pop, Sleater-Kinney, The Breeders, Babymetal, Jimmy Eat World, and The Mars Volta.

The Smashing Pumpkins
The Smashing Pumpkins are celebrating Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness with The Rats in a Cage Tour. That alone makes it one of the more interesting rock tours of the year. The Pumpkins have the hits, but they also have a deep catalog that rewards longtime fans. This tour is built around two sets, one connected to Mellon Collie and another covering nearly four decades of music, which sounds like the right way to do a tour like this. The 27-date North American run starts September 30 in Columbus and wraps November 12 in Los Angeles.

The Strokes
The Strokes are also out in 2026, and for indie rock fans, that is a big deal. They are one of those bands that still carry a certain cool factor, but the songs have also held up incredibly well. Their shows are usually not overdone or overly polished, and that is part of the appeal. They just have the songs, the sound, and the attitude. The Strokes’ Reality Awaits the World 2026 tour runs from June 12 through September 20, with support from Thundercat, Hamilton Leithauser, Cage the Elephant, and Ölüm on select dates.

Bon Jovi
Bon Jovi’s Forever Tour is another big classic rock story in 2026. This one feels especially important because it marks a major return after Jon Bon Jovi’s vocal surgery and recovery. For fans who grew up on “Livin’ on a Prayer,” “Wanted Dead or Alive,” and “It’s My Life,” this is one of those tours that will have a lot of emotion behind it. Bon Jovi has July 2026 dates at Madison Square Garden, the band will bring the Forever Tour to The Garden on July 7, 9, 12, 14, 16, 19, 21, 23, and 26.

Metallica
Metallica are doing something a little different in 2026 with Life Burns Faster at Sphere in Las Vegas. This is not a normal national tour, but it absolutely should be mentioned because fans will travel for this. Metallica and Sphere together sounds like one of those shows where the production could be just as talked about as the setlist. The residency begins October 1, 2026, and Pitchfork reported the original eight-show run with Metallica’s “No Repeat Weekend” format.
See Metallica Tour Dates & Tickets on Ticketmaster
Eagles
The Eagles are another major name with 2026 shows, including Sphere dates in Las Vegas. Like Metallica and Kenny Chesney, this is more of a destination concert experience than a standard tour. For fans of classic rock, seeing the Eagles in a venue like Sphere is probably the kind of trip that feels bigger than just buying a ticket to a show. The Eagles’ site shows 2026 Sphere dates in September and November.

Bob Dylan
Bob Dylan is also still out on the road in 2026, which is pretty amazing by itself. At this point, seeing Bob Dylan live is not really about expecting a greatest-hits show or hearing the songs exactly like the records. That has never really been what Dylan does.
A Bob Dylan concert is more about seeing one of the greatest songwriters of all time still doing things his own way. The songs can change shape, the arrangements can feel different, and the show can be unpredictable. For some fans, that is exactly what makes it interesting. Dylan has never been the kind of artist who lives in the past, even when he is playing songs that changed music history.

Country Tours to Watch in 2026
Morgan Wallen
Morgan Wallen’s Still The Problem Tour is one of the biggest country tours of 2026. Stadium country is massive right now, and Wallen is one of the clearest examples of that. His shows are not just country concerts at this point. They are full stadium events. The tour begins April 10 in Minneapolis and ends August 1 in Philadelphia, with a rotating lineup of openers including Brooks & Dunn, HARDY, Ella Langley, Thomas Rhett, Gavin Adcock, Flatland Cavalry, and Hudson Westbrook.
See Morgan Wallen Tour Dates & Tickets on Ticketmaster
Luke Combs
Luke Combs is also having a huge 2026 with his My Kinda Saturday Night Tour. His songs work so well in big venues because they feel built for singalongs. He has that rare ability to make a stadium show still feel grounded. The tour begins March 21 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, with guests including Dierks Bentley, The Script, The Teskey Brothers, Thomas Rhett, Ty Myers, Jake Worthington, Thelma & James, and The Castellows on select dates.
See Luke Combs Tour Dates & Tickets on Ticketmaster
Zach Bryan
Zach Bryan is another major name to watch in 2026. His live shows have a different feeling than a lot of modern stadium concerts. Even when the crowd is huge, the songs can still feel personal. That is a big reason his fan base has grown so quickly. He is one of the artists who proves that stripped-down songwriting can still fill massive venues. We saw Zach Bryan on this tour in Cleveland, and we highly recommend seeing him if you get the chance.

Kenny Chesney
Kenny Chesney is bringing his show to Sphere in Las Vegas, and that is a perfect fit in its own way. His concerts have always had a vacation-like feel to them, so putting that energy inside Sphere sounds like a full experience. This is not just a concert for a lot of fans. It is probably a Las Vegas weekend built around the show. Kenny Chesney Live at Sphere Las Vegas begins June 19, 2026, with multiple June and July dates.

Jason Aldean
Jason Aldean is another major country name touring in 2026. His shows lean into the big modern country sound, and he still has a lot of fans who show up for those arena and amphitheater nights. If you like country shows with a louder edge, Aldean is one of the names to watch this year.

Dan + Shay
Dan + Shay are going out on the Young Tour, and this one should appeal to fans who like the more polished country-pop side of things. Their shows are built around huge harmonies, big choruses, and songs that work really well live. The 26-date North American tour starts September 11 in Noblesville, Indiana, and wraps November 7 in Mountain View, California, with Tyler Hubbard and Josh Ross joining the tour.

Kacey Musgraves
Kacey Musgraves is another strong 2026 tour to keep on the radar. She has always lived in her own lane between country, pop, folk, and singer-songwriter music. Her concerts are usually more atmospheric than a standard country show, which makes her a great pick for fans who want something a little different. Her Middle of Nowhere Tour runs from August 21 through October 27.

Shaboozey
Shaboozey is also on the road in 2026, and he is one of the more interesting names in country right now because he crosses over into so many different spaces. Zac Brown Band
Zac Brown Band are another great name for this 2026 concert guide. They fit perfectly because they are not just a country band. They bring in southern rock, roots music, beachy singalong songs, and enough musicianship to make the live show feel bigger than just the hits.
This is one of those bands that makes a lot of sense for summer concerts, road trips, and big nights out with a group of friends. Songs like “Chicken Fried,” “Toes,” “Knee Deep,” and “Homegrown” have that easy live feel where the crowd becomes part of the show. For fans who like country music with a little more jam-band energy and classic rock influence, Zac Brown Band are definitely worth keeping on the radar in 2026.

Pop, R&B, and Big Arena Tours
Ariana Grande
Ariana Grande’s Eternal Sunshine Tour is one of the biggest pop tours of 2026. She has the voice, the hits, and the kind of fan base that makes every tour feel like a major event. This will probably be one of the hardest tickets of the year for pop fans. Her tour runs from June 6 through August 6.
See Ariana Grande Tour Dates & Tickets on Ticketmaster
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran is also out with the Loop Tour, and he is one of those artists who can make a massive crowd feel surprisingly intimate. His live setup has always been a big part of his appeal, because it shows how much sound one person can build on stage. His tour runs from June 13 through November 7.
See Ed Sheeran Tour Dates & Tickets on Ticketmaster
Bruno Mars
Bruno Mars is another major name touring in 2026. His shows are usually built around musicianship, dancing, personality, and songs that are just made to be performed live. If you want a concert that feels like a full night of entertainment, Bruno Mars is always a strong pick. The Romantic Tour runs from April 10 through October 14, with Anderson .Paak, Leon Thomas, Victoria Monét, and Raye appearing as support.

Shakira
Shakira’s Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour is also part of the 2026 concert picture. She has the kind of catalog that crosses generations and languages, and her live shows have always had a lot of energy. Her 2026 dates run from June 13 through July 25.
See Shakira Tour Dates & Tickets on Ticketmaster
Olivia Dean
Olivia Dean is one of the newer names on this list, but she is clearly building real momentum. Her rise has been impressive, and her 2026 dates feel like the kind of tour people may look back on later and say they caught at the right time. The Art of Loving Live tour runs from July 10 through August 29.

Teddy Swims
Teddy Swims is also touring in 2026, and he is another artist whose voice is the main attraction. He can move between soul, pop, country, and rock influences without sounding forced. That makes him a strong live pick for fans who just want to hear someone really sing. The Ugly Tour runs through November 18.

Alternative, Indie, and Jam Band Tours
Dave Matthews Band
Dave Matthews Band is a personal favorite, and one of the most reliable summer concert bands in the country. Their shows feel like a tradition at this point. Fans know the setlist will move around, the jams will stretch, and no two nights will feel exactly the same. Their 2026 summer tour runs from May 8 through September 6.

Phish
Phish are also a major 2026 live music name, and their fan base is one of the most dedicated in music. A Phish show is not really just about hearing the songs. It is about where the songs go once the band starts stretching them out. Their Summer Tour ’26 from July 7 through September 6.

Mumford & Sons
Mumford & Sons are touring in 2026 with the Prizefighter Tour. Their music has always worked well in big outdoor spaces because it has that stomp-along, communal feeling to it. Dates run from June 2 through June 22 and again from July 31 through October 8, with support from Sierra Ferrell, Dylan Gossett, Caamp, Lord Huron, Medium Build, and Marcus King Band on select dates.
See Mumford & Sons Tour Dates & Tickets on Ticketmaster
Tame Impala
Tame Impala is another great option for fans who want something more atmospheric and psychedelic. Kevin Parker’s music has always felt huge through headphones, but live it can become even more immersive. His North American Arena Tour runs from July 7 through September 19, with Djo and Dominic Fike as support.

Gorillaz
Gorillaz are also touring in 2026, and they always bring something different to the live space. It is part concert, part visual world, and part genre-blending experiment. The Mountain North America 2026 runs from September 17 through October 31, with Little Simz and Deltron 3030 as support.
See Gorillaz Tour Dates & Tickets on Ticketmaster
Weezer
Weezer are heading out with The Gathering, and they are one of those bands that can appeal to multiple generations at the same show. You have the older fans who grew up with the early albums, and you have younger fans who found them later. Their tour runs from September 8 through October 24, with The Shins and Silversun Pickups as support.
See Weezer Tour Dates & Tickets on Ticketmaster
The Black Keys
The Black Keys are also on the road in 2026 with the Peaches ’N Kream World Tour ’26. They still bring that stripped-down blues-rock energy, but they have enough big songs now to make it work in much larger rooms. The tour runs from April 24 through October 18.
See The Black Keys Tour Dates & Tickets on Ticketmaster
Jack White
Jack White is another one of my personal favorites. His shows usually have a raw, unpredictable quality, which is exactly what makes him so interesting live. Whether he is leaning into solo material, White Stripes songs, or deep guitar-driven moments, he is one of those artists who keeps the room on edge in a good way. Jack White – Live 2026 dates run from July 10 through July 25 and September 18 through November 21. He will also be headlining Borderland Music Festival in East Aurora, NY.

Death Cab for Cutie
Death Cab for Cutie are also touring in 2026, and their shows are a great fit for fans who like emotional, melodic alternative rock. Their songs can feel quiet and intimate, but they also hit hard live when the full band opens them up. Their North American summer tour runs from May 29 through August 9.
See Death Cab for Cutie Tour Dates & Tickets on Ticketmaster
Arkells
Arkells fit perfectly in this section because their live shows are full of energy, personality, and huge singalong moments. Their songs are catchy on record, but they seem to grow even more on stage.
The band has a way of making a concert feel like a shared experience instead of just a performance. The hooks are big, the crowd gets pulled in, and the whole show has that upbeat live band feel that makes Arkells worth keeping on the radar in 2026.

Modest Mouse
Modest Mouse are another strong name for alternative fans. Their live shows can be a little weird, a little messy, and completely memorable, which is kind of the point. Their summer North American tour runs from May 12 through September 20.
See Modest Mouse Tour Dates & Tickets on Ticketmaster
Interpol
Interpol are also out in 2026, and they are a great pick for fans who like darker, moodier indie rock. Their music has a very specific atmosphere, and that usually comes across well live. Their North American tour runs from July 31 through October 17.
See Interpol Tour Dates & Tickets on Ticketmaster
Mt. Joy
Mt. Joy are another great band to include in this guide, especially because their live show has become such a big part of why fans connect with them. They have the indie rock songs, but they also bring a loose, jam-band feel to the stage that makes the concerts feel alive in a different way.
This is one of those bands where the musicianship really shines live. The songs already have strong melodies and lyrics, but in concert, everything opens up more. The guitar work, the grooves, the extended moments, and the way the band plays off each other make the show feel bigger than just hearing the songs from the records.
For fans who like indie rock with a little more movement, a little more soul, and a little more live energy, Mt. Joy are definitely worth keeping on the radar in 2026.

Final Thoughts
2026 really does feel like a packed year for live music. There are huge stadium tours, major country shows, classic rock returns, pop arena tours, alternative bands, jam bands, and destination concerts that fans may travel across the country to see.
What I like about a year like this is that there is not just one kind of concert fan being served. If you want AC/DC, Rush, Bon Jovi, Metallica, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan or the Eagles, there are major legacy acts out there. If you want country, Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, Zach Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Dan + Shay, and Kacey Musgraves give fans a lot to choose from. If you want pop, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, Harry Styles, Shakira, and Olivia Dean are all part of the conversation. And if you are more into alternative or indie music, The Strokes, My Chemical Romance, The Smashing Pumpkins, Tame Impala, Gorillaz, Weezer, Jack White, and Dave Matthews Band make this a really strong year.
Hopefully this guide helps you find a show worth checking out, or maybe even gives you an excuse to plan a concert road trip.
