This is actually my first review of a music video, but I really like this one. The video for “In the Stars” by The Rolling Stones works because it matches the feeling of the song instead of fighting against it.
The track has a fresh, alive energy to it, and the video leans into that by using AI to make the band appear younger.
I actually think that choice adds a lot to the song. If the video had simply shown the Stones as men in their 80s performing it straight, it might not have carried the same spark. That is not a knock on them at all. It is more about the mood of the song. “In the Stars” feels youthful, moving, and full of life, so the younger visual version of the band fits the sound.

Why the AI Works
The AI could have easily felt like a gimmick, but here it actually serves the song. The younger versions of the band do not feel like they are replacing the real Rolling Stones. They feel more like memories brought back to life.
That is what makes the video interesting. It is not just trying to make the band look young for the sake of it. It is using the image of young Mick, Keith, and Ronnie to capture the spirit people still associate with the Stones: movement, attitude, danger, and style.
